HISTORY 

The state Jammu and Kashmir was founded on the day 26th of October 1947, J&K was the only state in India which had special autonomy under Article 370 of the Constitution of India, as per which no law established by the Parliament of India, aside from those in the field of the defence, foreign policy and communication, would be extendable in Jammu and Kashmir except if it was endorsed by the state council of Jammu and Kashmir, not just a separate constitution it was the one and only Indian state to have its own official state flag, alongside the Indian national flag. The major territory of the state is covered by the mountains till now which are the main attraction of the tourists.

BEST TIME TO VISIT JAMMU AND KASHMIR

The best time to travel Jammu and Kashmir is from the month of October to April and March to August to witness the “heaven on the earth” respectively as according to the weather and this the time where tourists are on the peak to travel the place and scenic beauty of the state is very lush to travel each every place, and 4-5 days are sufficient to visit the prime locations, there are a number of location which you need to prioritize because you won’t have too much time to travel.

HOW TO REACH?

You can easily reach Jammu and Kashmir via Train or Airplane, there are two main railway stations are Jammu and Udhampur work is also under construction to the extent the railway line to Srinagar city & Qazigund Banihal of Ramban districts. Flights are also available from Jammu and Srinagar airports.
